"Got the wrong items and one was missing"
I ordered a few things for my tank, but when the package showed up, some of the items were completely wrong and one was missing altogether. Compared to other aquarium shops I’ve ordered from, this was way more frustrating than it needed to be. Support also took a while to get back to me, so I still ended up dealing with the hassle myself. Not planning to order from here again.

"Pretty limited selection, unfortunately"
I wanted to like it, and there were a couple of decent options, but overall the selection felt really limited. It was a bit disappointing because I was hoping to have more to choose from.

"Item showed in stock but wasn’t"
I ordered because the website said the item was in stock, but a couple days later they told me it actually wasn’t available and I’d have to wait. I don’t know why it was listed as ready to go if that wasn’t the case.

I’m usually fine with delays if I know upfront, but this just wasted my time. I ended up buying it somewhere else instead.

"The site was frustrating to use"
I had a hard time using the site. The search kept failing on me, and checkout was more confusing than it should’ve been. To be fair, I did eventually get through it, but the whole process felt way more frustrating than expected.

"Weeks later and still no fix"
As someone who really values clear communication, this was super frustrating. Support kept telling me they’d look into it, but weeks went by and nothing actually got fixed. I had to keep chasing them for updates every single time, which got old fast.

"Maybe I’m just a little picky about..."
Maybe I’m just a little picky about deliveries, but the box showed up crushed. I was hoping it would be packed a bit more securely

"Kind of helpful, but not really worth it"
They were friendly enough and seemed to know what they were talking about, but the advice didn’t really fix anything for me. I left feeling like they were more interested in making a sale than actually solving the problem. My tank still had the same issues after, so while the experience wasn’t terrible, I probably wouldn’t use them again.

"Felt a little overpriced to me"
I was excited to order from saltwateraquarium.com, but after looking around, the prices felt high to me. A lot of the items I was interested in seemed cheaper on other sites, even before adding shipping. I’m not saying their products aren’t good, but from my perspective, the value just wasn’t really there. I kind of felt like I ended up paying extra without getting much extra in return. I probably wouldn’t order again unless the prices come down a bit.

"Return hassle, refund nonsense"
I ordered the wrong item and figured returning it would be simple, but nope. The whole return circus was confusing, the email crew took days to reply, and I had to keep checking like a bill collector just to see where my refund was. When it finally showed up, it was less than I expected because of fees and shipping. Yeah, I’m not dealing with these people again...

"Shipping took forever"
The product itself might be fine, but wow, the shipping took way longer than I expected. The updates weren’t very clear either, so I was just sitting around wondering what was going on. How are you supposed to feel good about an order when you barely know where it is? By the time it finally showed up, the whole experience already felt like a letdown.

I reached out to customer service and figured I’d hear back quickly, or at least within a day or so. It’s been three days now, actually, a little over three days—and I still haven’t gotten any reply.

"Rewards points aren’t that exciting"
I’ve ordered a few times and kept thinking the rewards points would eventually make it feel worth it. they’re kind of a hassle to use and don’t add up to much. I guess it’s better than getting nothing at all, but it definitely wouldn’t be the reason I keep shopping here.
